I actually have a bit of time to write a blog post today…yay! Ever have a really trippy dream that sticks with you all day? Well, I had a doozy last night. I’m going to regale you with my tale and hopefully I won’t bore you to sleep (and then you’ll have your own weird dream).

I was walking through the forest when I came upon this river. It was wide and full of rocks. I remember feeling the cool breeze and thinking that wherever I was that it was beautiful and pristine. Suddenly, I saw pieces of junk floating down the river. At first, there were just little things like broken toys and discarded Knick-knacks. Then larger stuff started appearing: mattresses, furniture, large steel beams, and even cars! I was like, “WTF is going on here? Who is throwing all this crap into the river?” I started walking up the river to see where it was coming from and I came upon a housing development that people were moving into. There were huge moving trucks full of stuff but rather than move all that stuff into the houses, people were throwing it into the river. (Because that’s what you do when you move in.) I walked up to some dude and asked him, “Why the hell are you throwing all your crap into the river?” He didn’t answer me but kept throwing toilet paper rolls into the water. I yelled at them, “You guys are idiots!”

My yelling at these dolts didn’t seem to do anything so I decided to follow the river back down to where this junk was going. For some reason, I was afraid it would all go into the ocean and the dolphins would die. (Poor dolphis seem to get the shaft for all the stuff we do to the ocean. Right?) Instead of flowing into the ocean, all the stuff was flowing into a huge warehouse, which I thought was totally bizarre. Like how could that happen, but oh yeah, it’s a dream and weird shit happens all the time. Anyway, each piece of junk flowed into a warehouse where a bunch of workers tagged the stuff and resold it to poor people for craploads of money. This was an injustice that I could not stand, so what did I do? I went to the grocery store to ask Madonna if I could use her cell phone to call the cops. She was in the middle of making a music video (at the grocery store? Hello?), but didn’t mind letting me use her phone (she’s so nice).

The cops came and made me look at all kinds of accounting paperwork, which I didn’t really understand why they made me to do this but they busted those suckers at the warehouse. But now that I’m thinking about it, all those idiots at the housing development threw all that crap into the river and they got away with it. DAMMIT!!
