Ha ha ha. I’m rich!!!! I just won the Powerball and I’m Rich!!!. Ha ha ha. I’m now a Republican!!!

You should see my new political philosophy.

SPEND LESS NOW. I want an immediate end to all Welfare. NO MORE gifts to those too lazy to work. The money they intend to live on comes from ME!!! Ha ha ha I’m rich now. Ha ha ha!!

That Welfare is for Welfare Queens anyway.

Mr. President, please keep up the bombings in the Middle East and up the funding for drone attacks. Kill them all because they threaten to undermine our money and I can’t afford that. And while you’re at it kill the North Koreans too. Then resign and go back to Kenya. Let a decent white man run the Country….any decent white man.

Ha ha ha, I’m rich now. I’m a Republican now!!! I hate everybody! Ha, ha ha.

I don’t want anything spent on education. If people need to be education then they should go educate themselves. I see no reason to pay for that. If I have a family and someone wants to go to school I should work a few more hours a week to pay for it.

Defund the 47% now.

I don’t want my money spent on medical care for anyone but me and mine. If I get sick then I have to make myself healthy. That is my job and it should be the job of each America (God Bless America). I’m rich and I want you all to leave me alone, leave my money alone, and then go to hell.

Ha ha ha.

I want the Bush family back in power. There are at least two out there and I want them! I also want the ex Congressman West, Rand Paul, Ryan, and especially the idiot chick from Alaska. I want them all!

Ha ha ha. I’m RIC

Huh? What? I’m snoring? OK, I’ll roll over.

The End of Sequestration is near. But, so is the bad compromise

First, the Republicans do not do what their constituents want. They do what their donors want. Their donors are a group of very wealthy people.

In Miami, where I live, I have an airplane. This airplane is based at the Opa Locka Airport about 12 miles north of Miami International. It has six runways and a multitude of taxiways on which airplanes maneuver to get from the runway to their base, refueler, maintenance facility, or mini arrival/departure passenger lounge, and back.

There are airports like Opa Locka throughout the US, and many, as a result of sequestration, will lose their Tower and Ground Control people in two weeks. Opa Locka loses its' controllers in two weeks too.

When the millionaires can no longer safely land and taxi around an airport they will cease to be able to use their private jets. Insurance companies will discourage that. Pilots may also get involved after a few near collisions or nose to nose airplanes on the same taxiway with no way to turn around to break the opposing airplane traffic jam. Then the wealthy will pressure everyone to end the sequester.

Second, when millionaires lose Federal contracts, or Federally paid for contracts to their companies, they will pressure Washington to act. They cannot afford to have any contracts cancelled or delayed more than a few days.

When those problems occur the Sequester will become history.

The problem, however, is much greater than the sequester.

Ronald Reagan ended five decades of high Income Tax on high profits on people and corporations. Those taxes had the Country running beautifully. We were the envy of the World.

Why? Because tax law exempts business investment from taxation. The very high Millionaire taxes were forcing those with very high profits to invest in their businesses or lose most of their incomes. That tax concept worked magic! There were some people, with enough money, who paid the tax anyway.

Ronald Reagan reduced taxation to the point that those with high incomes didn’t need to make business investments. And they didn’t. Many of them found that other new laws allowed them to move their companies to China and India where they could maximize their now low taxed incomes, and they did that too.

As a result of lessened Income Tax Ronald Reagan borrowed the lost Federal income. He started a process of heavy borrowing in lieu of heavy taxation. His move started us on a track to insolvency which almost ruined us in 2007.

That tax concept failed.

But Republicans and many Democrats had found deep pockets from which to extract money by merely promising not to go back to pre-Reagan taxation, the only idea that had worked for America.

The real truth is that for almost 30 years those with high profits pocketed Trillions of Dollars as the National Debt rose to Trillions of Dollars. A transfer of Dollars had occurred. A transfer from the Treasury to the high income people.

So, who is being asked to repay those missing Dollars? Not the rich, who now have those Trillions of Dollars. The poor, the elderly, and the sick, who didn’t make a nickel of those Dollars will soon be required to repay those missing Dollars.

So we find ourselves in a Sequestration Paralysis. A few Millionaires bringing the entire US, through their paid for Senators and Representatives, to a crawl.

The question to be asked is, “who will win the Sequestration and Budget Battles, Right or Might?

The Daily Kos and their denial of First Amendment rights vs the Open Salon writer's freedom.

In my last Post on my blog at Dailk Kos I wrote about Obama and the right wing response to a black person being elected President of the U.S.

I wrote that the election of Barack Obama was what made the Tea Party important since they were a dead issue prior to the Barack Obama election. Once the lead up to the election got under way the Tea Party went from an unknown tongue in cheek group to a major political Party because of Barack Obama's race. (The Daily Kos was infuriated)

No other candidate for that election could have moved the Tea Party from obscurity to National importance. The presence of a black person in the White House infuriated the right wing and they rushed to join the Tea Party. It was suddenly important.

I further speculated that the firestorm created by the Obama election would make if extremely unlikely that another black person would be able to overcome the power and the attacks of the Tea Party.

On that last issue I may have been wrong. The Tea Party was unable to prevent the reelection of Barack Obama and will not be able to prevent another black person from becoming President of the US.

However, Daily Kos was not in agreement with my thoughts and labeled me a Troll. They closed my Blog and have prevented me from writing anything again. And they have refused to take down my blog page or to allow me to take it down. So much for the First Amendment.

I am permanently blocked but the Blog is still there. Freedom of speech doesn't exist there.

Here at Open Salon a writer can write anything they want. We can make fools of oursevles as often as we wish. We are respected. The First Amendment is respected.

The Daily Kos demands the right of Freedom of Speech while they simultaneously attack and label writers for their opinions. They both demand freedom of speech as they deny it to others.

Shame on the Daily Kos. Shame on Markos Moulitsas, its founder and publisher.

Why We Can’t Stop Illegal Immigration With That Bill.

The newest proposal to change Immigration laws does very little to change illegal immigration. The Bill suggests that adding more Immigration Officers to patrol an extremely porous border will have an effect on the problem of illegal border crossing. It won’t.

The only way to tighten a border is to attack the reasons for crossing the border. In the case of Mexico and the US it is Economics. So let’s look at the real economics using a real and a hypothetical case.

A country has two borders. One in the north and one in the south. Just like the US has.

The rate of exchange with the Country to the north, Canada, is very close to 1 to 1. One US Dollar equals one Canadian Dollar.....almost.

The rate of exchange with the Country in the south is 8 to 1. With the US, the south border Country, Mexico, has a Peso worth 1/8th the value of the Dollar. One Dollar buys eight Pesos.

Let’s assume that a person in the hypothical south Country has a job paying 25,000 Pesos. A person in the US doing the same job, earns $25,000.

If the person in the South Country travels north legally or illegally, he can earn a salary of $25,000 per year. Then he can send that $25,000 back to his family to the south. They go to the bank to transfer the $25,000 into Pesos and they get 8 times 25,000, or 200,000 Pesos. The 8 to 1 rate of exchange.

You can build all the border fences you want, hire all the Immigration Officers you want, or try any other trick you want, you will never stop the illegal border crossings with the 8 to 1 rate of exchange.

So how can you stop a person from the southern Country from making a salary 8 times larger than they presently make?

You have to change the economics. Change the Rate Of Exchange between the Dollar and the Peso to 1 to 1.

The rate of illegal immigration between the US and Canada, where the rate of exchange is roughly 1 to 1, is almost zero. If we change the rate of exchange between the US and Mexico to 1 Dollar equaling 1 Peso, the illegal immigration will stop immediately.

And if we change the rate of exchange to 1 to 8, where 1 Peso equals $8.00 the illegal immigration will reverse. Americans will flock to Mexico for work. Mexico will have to look at erecting a fence to stop Americans from crossing their border.

The Reason for the Second Amendment......Indians

Posted by Pierre Angiel on January 22, 2013 at 8:59am

View Blog

The right to bear arms isn't exactly what we think it is.

That right wasn't added to the Constitution to protect us against the British or hostile change in our government. Though it could be used in those ways.

That right was placed there because the local communities needed militias to protect themselves against Indian attacks.

The wars with the Indians didn't stop until almost 1900.

In 1763, a few years before the American Revolution, the French and Indian Wars had ended. For years after the Revolution a person couldn't venture far west of the Hudson River without risking attack.

Forts were built to protect the people from Indian attack and the nearby residents would seek shelter in them when they were being attacked. The forts were manned by the militias which would expand as the nearby residents went to them for shelter.

Since those forts were still in use at the time of the American Revolution, a well regulated militia was as absolute necessity. Forts without soldiers were of little use and the new Government in the US would be as unable to afford the army necessary for the protection of the citizens from the Indians as were the British before.

A partial list of the forts in New York alone from 1615 to 1760 includes:

Ft. Crown point

Ft. Ticonderoga

Ft. William Henry

Ft. Amstead

Ft. George

Ft. Hurley

Ft. Kanadesaga

NY State Military Forts
1615 - 1760

Certain portions of the map can be enlarged by clicking on them or use the links below:
Albany-Champlain Corridor
Hudson River (Lower)
Mohawk River Valley
New York City
Brooklyn
Long Island
Manhatten
Staten Island
Niagara Frontier
Saint Lawrdigital-library.usma.edu/collections/maps/revmaps/ (Link will open new window.)

So the new US Constitution made certain that the right to have militias would remain as it had under the British. The writers of the Constitution understood that those guns had to be at home for protection there against Indians and that a militia could gather in a moments notice at anyone's home or property.
