Here we have it, folks, the American spirit at its best, facing formidable odds without batting an eyelash. It's like Fort McHenry all over again. This photo sent tingles up and down my spine. Bravery in action. Who needs the Vietnam Syndrome when you've got the spirit of hurricane Sandy to be proud of? It's moments like these when we show the world that we've still got what it takes. Pure, unadulterated strength and courage. Semper Fi and Glory Hallelujah!

Earlier this year, my cousin Rick went on a 3-month trip around Austrialia, working his way across the place and taking in all the sights he could.

Well, while he was down there he wenk hiking at this big rock. No, it wasn't that big red one, but some other one, all kinda bushy and crumbly. Anyway, it seems that while he was up there, he met this girl, the most beautiful one he ever saw in his life. She had long blond hair and a white dress, and they got to talking. He couldn't believe his luck. Then suddenly she smiled at him sadly and told him she had to "get back - they're waiting." And then she said "Tell Sara I love her." Then she got up and gone she was.

Rick couldn't get her out of his head. After that he spent three whole days looking for her. She's all he ever thinks about these days.

Here's a snapshot he got off just before she disappeared. Anybody know her?

Hey, it's taken me a couple of years, but I think I finally might get laid on here. You see, it's been pretty quiet for me in my trailer the last couple of months, really just me and the ferrets. So imagine how I practically jumped out of my seat this morning when I found this little love letter trembling in my in-box:

Oh my friend,

Nice Meeting You,i wanna be your friend.First friendship cannot be seen or even be touched,it must be felt within the heart.Hoping you feel just the way i do.wow, friends are like clothes, without them you feel naked!I guess am right.
Miss kate sanusi,I will tell you more about me, my family and all that maybe necessary in this relationship when you reply to this mail.If this interest you, get back to me on my email (katesanusi@yahoo.com)
Yours dearly,
kate.

Whew, like, get a grip... Okay, I'm ready to rock 'n roll! But here's what I'm trying to figure out: When I write to her, should I tell her about the ferrets?
