At 2 and a half years old, she is truly excited about the Easter bunny.
Resplendent in her Easter bonnet and dress ,she was mystified by the 5 large butterflies alight in the front garden.
After she found all of the eggs that E.B. had left for her she came into the house to find that the furniture had all been completely rearranged and the garden was set up for a garden party.

She opened her Easter basket and played in the yard all morning while her parents and grandparents struggled to keep up.
We had lemonade from our Meyer lemon tree
and a Hunger games appetizer of goat cheese, basil leaves and blackberries macerated in blackberry balsamic.
There were little nests made of Salted Brown butter rice crispy treats with robins egg candies

and little deviled eggs made to look like new born chicks.
Our granddaughter had her own special appetizer - frosty the bagel.

For lunch we had lamb that had roasted slowly for 6 hours with fennel seed garlic, and chilies,
Champ with sautéed leeks and homemade butter, and peas.

For dessert, lemon syllabub made with homemade limoncello and fresh berries.
