Valentine's day can be a pretty strange, weird and charged day. Not really a holiday, and it's not much fun if you're single. I've been single about 5 years now, and it's been quite a progression. The first year, I went into a See's Candy store, bought 1.5 pounds of chocolates, came home and ate them all in one sitting. I didn't feel so good the next day.

The next couple years were a blur, last year, I was just happy to be alive. Remarkably, this year, I'm doing alright being single. I'm so busy getting healthy, working, hanging out with friends and embarking on my new found hobby of being a citizen reporter, I'm not sure where I'd fit in time for a boyfriend. I think I could, and it would be nice. But I'm doing OK without, and I never thought I'd be in that place.

This song isn't really a Valentine's song, but I couldn't resist using a bunch of heart shaped things from the CVS across the street in the video, and I thought it would be fun to post it on Valentine's day. Love takes many shapes and forms for people. This is one of those I guess.
