Bio
Resuming a career in writing after a 5 year hiatus to raise children. My work at this time focuses on Asperger Syndrome and life as a modern family. In the past I worked on manuals from HR missives to technical instructions on how to operate devices, and of course legal briefs. I have four children in age from 12 to 12 months. This is my year of intentional media where we have turned off the cable and watch logged in as a family programs we select.

I ended my romance with the Democratic Party this week. It was a long time coming ever since I was in kindergarten and listed Jimmy Carter, Mickey Mouse, and the Fonz as my heroes. My perversion must have started early as a side of effect of Nixon’s resignation when I was… Read full post »

The Occupy Movement has started across our nation. It has captured our imaginations of what can be done to take back our country from forces that have worked against the great American tradition of a middle class able to provide for their families with dignity and pride.  We need to go… Read full post »

Beware of anyone who offers simple solutions to complex problems.  When it comes to addiction painfully there are no simple solutions - EVER.

I applaud the Coalition for Juvenile Justice for reaching out today to all of its social networks to explain to the public why the new A&E show… Read full post »

Louise Raggio passed away of natural causes at age 91 on Sunday.

I would like to take a moment to remember her fight for property rights of women.  Louise fought a long hard Texas tough battle to pass the Texas Marital Property Act of 1967.

Before passage of that bill… Read full post »

Today I speak out on behalf of all of the young men in our country with Asperger Syndrome. I also offer hope to their parents. Most people with Asperger Syndrome DO NOT commit violent acts.

Yes, it is very possible that Tucson gunman Jaren Lee Loughner has this diagnosis. I have… Read full post »

Sharron Angle's Personal Beef with Autism

I live in Nevada so when the national news took to the story about Sharron Angle bashing the bill that saves my family thousands of dollars a year by requiring coverage for therapies by our health insurance I took notice.

Every day of my life is focused around Autism.… Read full post »

I have started a blogging campaign to get enough buzz about the issue of GPS with Victim Notification. Women in my generation are going through the very same horror as the women a generation before, the insane part is that today there is technology that can prevent it.

My loop-a-blog campaign… Read full post »

Sorry Gay Tea Party Patriots (I am not saying there are not any of you.)

Sharron Angle does not want your money. Sorry.

She does not want money from your employer if they treat you like a decent human being and don't want you re-programmed.

Sharron Angle Campaigns in San Diego

Sharon Angle enjoyed her day campaigning for the US Senate out in San Diego.

Only problem is that the district she wants to win is across the border a six hour drive away in Nevada. She wants to unseat Harry Reid in the November election but won’t talk to theRead full post »

Stay home from Costco. You just don't know what might happen to you while you are there.

In Las Vegas there is the tragic case of the police shooting of Erik Scott I wrote about it in this earlier piece.

Up late working on a project I heard the voice of Joey Greco otherwise known as the Cheaters show guy inviting me to "speed up the wheels of justice" by visiting a new website from the creators of his program called iaccuse.com.

My previous post was about the high cost of BlogWorld. Any convention that costs over $800 before the room and meal cost needs to be something very special. The BlogWorldBlog responded with suggestions how to pay for the convention by asking for donations or holding a garage sale.

BlogWorld Expo is coming to Las Vegas October 14-16th!

At first the $895 early bird price tag seemed a little steep in our recession era, even $395 is deep into he pockets of hobby bloggers, but I will plunk down my $35 to see the exhibit space and get new… Read full post »

The stalkers probably already know them so I should share with the rest of the worldRead full post »

Any Privacy in the Media?

I found this article interesting from my past hometown of Portland Oregon.

Terri Horman posted comments on KATU.com

Regardless of her innocence or guilt I don't think she anticipated this research when she signed up for the account prior to the unfortunate abduction of her stepson.

No, I envy YOU

My Dearest Friend,

You called me tonight with the lament in your heart that you had not done enough, seen enough, been anywhere, or done anything.

My city of Las Vegas suffered a terrible senseless crime yesterday. It was the scene of any mother's worst nightmare.
