I had a traumatic brain injury. So maybe I was dropping IQ points faster than Marie Osmond did pounds on NutriSystem, something must be left. We aren't talking "Sybil" here, all right? I am me but not exactly the old me. Confused? Yeah, me too. Maybe we can all get to know everyone a little better, together. Come on, it will be an adventure. I don't know anyone here either.

Daddy died. What to tell our sons?

My first husband died from cancer at age 39. Our sons were 4 and 7. He lived 59 days from diagnosis to death. It was too fast, it was too slow. We knew four days after the initial diagnosis what the likely outcome would be.

Tax Day? Gr8 B'Day 4 me. No MRI!

Given the past four birthdays were spent medically messed up, this one is looking pretty good.

1st Blog: Jonesing 4 Cadbury Mini Eggs

 

Easter has come and gone but long before April 4th, my local stores (okay, so I went to more than one…) were sold out of Cadbury Mini Eggs. Yes, sold out of both the original (milk chocolate) and the Royal Dark Mini Eggs (dark chocolate). And I helped.
