Last nights outcome was the worst I have ever scene. Did anyone else think they intentionally ignored the Roman shield?
While I’m not overly shocked that the karate guy over looked the shield to support other karate guys, I’m stunned the science guy gave it a pass after the show with the Spartans.
That “big sword” the Rajput used? Is smaller than the swords the Gauls and Germanics used, so it should have been declared useless. The whip sword looked cool but was a joke. The Frisbee? Your dead 40 yards away from the “immobile” scorpion. Leaving only the punch dagger.
But the nerds fell for the cool looking over useful and the fighters that should have known better looked the other way.
Who won our game? No one.
Who lost? All of us. I’ll say I came in last b/c I called for a massacre and Scanner leads our merry band by calling it the closest.
(Do I sound bitter?)

The Rajputs, like The Huns before them who beat Alexander, were nomadic tribes, who didn't put as much emphasis or effort on their buildings and instead focused on their fighting prowesss.
It's just a totally different mindset...they flat out said that the scorpion was built for mechanized warfare...indicating that it would be relatively useless against human troops.
Now Rajput vs Attilla would be interesting
Or Rome vs Celts or Slavs
But East vs West, East is always going to win, because East cares about the man, West cares about the tool
It's like you're reading my mind.
Stud,
Better tools keeps the man alive. But I see your point. I don't know why they brought seige tools to a one on one.
The Romans beat the Celts, easily. urg, the truth hurts me there. The only reason they didn't keep conquering was that they were at thier limit, so the built Hadrians (?) Wall.
Look at you trying to cheat.
You have to post your pick to get to say I told you so:)
I think Bonnie Russell may join in. It would be great to get a cat fight going >:]
