Tillamook Air Museum

Rate: 0 Flag
One of the finest aircraft museums in existence is the Tillamook Air Museum on the Oregon Coast. Of course, you have heard of Tillamook Cheese, but maybe not of the Air Museum.

The Museum is a little south of Tillamook off Highway 101. There are many things to visit in Tillamook including the Cheese Factory, Blue Heron French Cheese Factory, Cape Meares, Munson Creek Falls, Tillamook Forest Center and of course, the Air Museum.

The aircraft are housed in an old World War Two Blimp Hangar which just happens to be the largest wooden structure in the world. Seeing is believing...it's absolutely huge!

OK! I did the High Dynamic Range Photography (HDR) thing. I can't help myself, the photos are going to look different, but I hope you enjoy them anyway!

I photographed almost every aircraft in the Museum so there will be more posts coming up.
