I just got back from a mini-vacation at my grandparents' house in Michigan. I love Michigan. I love my grandparents. So all went well. End of post.
Not so fast, readers. You think you can get away this easily? Not so fast! Watch as I snare you with my wit and gouge you with my sharpened vocabulary. THERE IS NO ESCAPE!!! CUE SINISTER AND EVIL LAUGHTER!! Oh, wait...I should have used asterisks for that part, huh? My bad.
Anyway, all was not well during my time with grandma and grandpa. I had the great misfortune of coming down with the nasty cold that is being passed around ever so generously the day before I left. I warned my grandparents, appologized profusely, and all but diminished their supply of Dayquil and Nyquil. I also made sure to wash my hands alot and not share utensils. If either of them gets sick I'm going to feel so guilty.
On the bright side, I had a steak dinner, made wild grape jelly with grandpa, and had roast duck for the first time ever.
And guess what else? My left ear just came unplugged. Stupid cold. It really messes my heard up.
