The long awaited complete (and now authorized) version of the Open Salon Avatar Collage will be available for your viewing pleasure and purchasing possibilities shortly! But first, we need your decent resolution images.* Pulling from your profile isn't high resolution enough.

If you want to be included in this future collector's item, you must act right away!

Upload your profile picture (avatar) directly to a post and tag it "os collage." Upload pictures by clicking on the little tree icon when you start a new post. Tagging your post "os collage" constitutes permission to use any image contained in that post for a collage that will be posted publicly and used in products for sale.

To see what the fuss is about, check out the first version of the OS Avatar Collage at my post from October. With the help of Steve and Mary (DogWoman), we've been able to sort out the permissions issues and will have a higher quality product to boot.

Up to the first 400 submissions will be used on a first submitted basis. The final result will be unveiled by mid-December. Coffee mugs, t-shirts, and posters of the collage will be available for purchase at that time.

Who will be part of this historic collage? Who will be placed front and center? Who will be sandwiched between the sharp-tongued lawyers, Madam B. and L.T. Bohica? Will the Freaky Troll get over her shyness and submit her image? How many dogs are used as OS avatars anyways? And the biggest question of all: Who will get teabagged by the squirrel?

* Alas, we cannot use copyrighted images without permission. Cartoon and movie characters, for example, will not be used.
