I lowered the price as much as I could. They have to get their piece of the rock, of course, which is almost $5 off the top. I priced it at $8.89 and of this, I get a little over $2.50. I didn't write this to make money, I wrote it to be able to leave some kind of legacy. Also, to feed my ego I guess. I wanted to see if I could write a book and I did.
Do not feel you have to order this book because we are friends. I know how the economy is and I am not planning on making any money with this book. I doubt I get my money back, which wasn't much anyway. I wrote a page in the front of the book thanking everyone at OS. I said I could not name all the people who have helped me along the way, and I really can't. Too many people corrected my grammar and typo's with PM's and comments, and I am so glad you did.
So here it is. I have started another book that is sort of a dark comedy, I think, about two old grandpa's and a road trip. Two more years? I think not. I am not nursing another baby as I did for ''A Killer of Angels". But no matter what happens, I will write. Thanks everyone~and to Diana of grafixtogo.com, thank you from the bottom of my heart. CreateSpace was remarkably easy to use, and fast - for me, less than two weeks from finished text to sales page. Diana turned my cover into a gem too - can't thank her and her talent enough.
Truest words in the post: "I didn't write this to make money." The kids flipping burgers at Mickey D's have a better chance of getting rich than we do! But next year, when you fill out your 1040, where it asks for your profession, you can put "Writer."

I've been looking into Createspace for my wife who wrote a novel several years ago, but was rejected by agents and publishers, so it has languished in a drawer. Now, with self publishing really catching on, it allows writers to get their work out to readers without the middle man.

I read the first three chapters of your book on the Kindle free preview and I think it is outstanding. The story is very compelling and the writing is fast paced.
However, you need an editor to correct the little things like grammar, typos, etc. An example is you used partition and I think you meant petition. There were some spelling errors and other minor stuff. This should be an easy fix and will make the book more polished and help with sales. People looking to buy a book will be turned off with too many editing issues. Createspace has an editing service (it costs money) and there are other editing services. They will make it more polished. If you have a friend willing to go through it, they can clean it up for you. Its hard to edit your own stuff because you know what you want to say and you miss the easy stuff. I know, I do it all the time.
You've done the hard part and should be very proud. I can't wait to get my copy and finish it. I think it might give me nightmares. G is one fucked up little dude. I hope this isn't an autobiography.
