No piece of music heralds the end of summer and the beginning of fall quite like Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. Fall is the season during which the days grow shorter and as night and moonlight descend more quickly they bring with them the chill of the air that give us the brilliant colors of waning daylight and the sobering hues of the autumnal moon.....While others here at OS have chosen to present you with pictoral declarations of the arrival of fall, I offer this piece as my way of saying that, yes indeed, autumn has arrived....
