He marks his destiny in colors

But I am not color for him

I am a choice

I dream of looking for him

While others give me tasks to perform

He dreams of old lovers

And wishes they were me

We slow dance in the kitchen

Locked and swaying as lovers do

He invites me to frolic

With a backwards turned hand

I invite him with a kiss

And press my body into his

We think each other beautiful

And our love making the best

Either one of us has known

He says we are lovesick

I say lovewell

We ask the moon to bless our union

It answers with a smile

Messages from other galaxies

In short bursts tell of our mission here

As sun flares and a lunar ring of fire

Turn dark energy to the light

"He says we are lovesick, I say lovewell." Great line. I can see your skirt swaying as you dance in the kitchen. Very sensual. R.

Dark energy to light?
Dark matter to energy...an interesting play even from a cosmological perspective.
Have I ever told you that you are a REALLY REALLY good poetess???
Passionate and powerful, Poetess. Written like a person in love.
This is a new favorite of mine...I am in a blissful state...xoxo
Easy to get lost in this.

He says we are lovesick

I say lovewell

"But the stars tell lies, it blinds the only warning

And when darkness dies, there's nothing left but morning"
RP:

We can always count on you to recharge our own batteries

: D
Beautiful as usual.
You're so "lovewell" you don't even know the season anymore!
Summer vacation?
Gal, summer is a month away!
Oh maybe it is one of those metaphorical summers you
poetesses often visit.
To gather new poems.

This was a cosmic one!
We have so darn much of this dark energy in the universe,
that it's good these extra-galactic
missionary
work
is still being done on our blue stage.

"Mark(ing) his destiny in colors",
making life art of his light spectrum...

Interesting "I dream of looking for him
while others give me tasks to do"...
Could that be interpreted as your life
until him?

Frolic on, cosmic girl!
A triumphant return! WOW! "I say lovewell...." A big welcome back to you! Rated with admiration...

Dear RomanticPoetess;

In responding both to poem ‘Ring of Fire’ and your tag ‘message’,
I would say, hurrah!

Have you seen the barn swallows? They remind me of you; of your inspired flight.

And like the reappearance of barn dances; you.

Beautifully drawn. Perfect as a kiss. You enliven that deep yearning in our blood, the moon tides wheedling our knowing, urging us far out to awaiting arms ..... for that moment. R >>>>>> Thanks, Mary.
