George W. Bush's tax cuts expire at the end of this year, so we can all expect to start paying a lot more taxes. Some insiders are calling this phenomenon "taxmageddon." It's funny how we are always creating goofy names for everything. I wonder what the inevitable next economic depression will be called: depressionmageddonapocalypse?"
I thought it might be fun to create a character called Taxmageddon. At first I thought about making the character a monster like Godzilla, then I settled on a play on the word “mageddon,” making it an Irish name -- MacGeddon.
So introducing: Tax MacGeddon, a combination of Uncle Sam, an Irish leprechaun, and a southern riverboat gambler. Thanks to George W. Bush, prepare to start giving Tax MacGeddon a significant amount of your money starting New Year’s Day next year.
Here are a few more comics with Tax MacGeddon.
