I would like to thank everyone that attended our book signing this last Saturday, November 12th, at Changing Hands Bookstore. We--Charles D. Orvik and John H. Paddison--used the occasion to talk about our new book The Brothers' Keepers, which we recently published. The audience response was excellent and the Q & A question and answer session was excellent. We appreciate everyone's interest in our historical literary novel about the Great Depression and life in North Dakota during that time. Again, our interest lie in the ongoing discussion of child neglect, abandonment, and abuse. We hold to the notion that literature hold a mirror up to our society and asks the important question of why?
