I think, rather, it's because you have yet to receive one of those annoying go-to-this-site-and-you-can-buy-these-items-discount-FREE-SHIPPING "comments."

I hereby grant you street cred...and I'm friending you...deal with it.

It's not that you don't have street cred, it's that you don't have cred, period. No offense - it's just that you have only two posts right now, and the second consists of seven words. If you write it, cred will come... Anyway, I'm "friending" you, even though you said my post wasn't as funny as you'd expected (I named myself "Lucifer", for god's sake, so how funny can you expect me to be...??). Plus, I like to style myself as friend to the friendless, among other ridiculous things... :-)
