This is an experiment. I have been trying, unsuccessfully to post video in posts for some time. What should follow is a Blondie video of Rapture, one of my all time favorite videos.
Voila!
The music of the '80s was one of my favorite periods in popular music. Don't get me wrong, music of the late 60s and early 70s was innovative and bands like Jefferson Airplane and musicians like Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton were all fabulous. It was the music of the 80s though, when my kids were becoming teens, that I enjoyed the most.
This Blondie song was interesting because it sort of mixed disco which was fading with rap which was coming on.
The guy in the top hat had some moves.
Here's another "talking" song. James Taylor did a great version, but this group did a great job, too.
I remember being stuck on I-17 in Phoenix in the 70s in a car with no air conditioning in stalled traffic listening to this song.

Firechick, there's never a reason to apologize for liking any kind of music. One of my most memorable experiences (and I mean this in a good way) was going to a hunter - jumper horse show which had Liberace at the 'half time' of the show. Imagine, amid sawdust and mud they had parked a grand piano and there sat Liberace and all of his candelabras with little old ladies swooning over him. Not my cup of tea but my experience was broadened.

I found that skypixieo left out a step. You can't just paste the html directly into the blog prior to publishing as sky's directions suggest. You have to click on the html button to the right of the flower (for embedding images) and your blog will appear in html. paste the html from the youtube video and then click on "update" and publish.
I find on my computer that I have to do all of the work on OS in Firefox. So, I open I.E. and get the material from YouTube and then switch to Firefox to post.
The big thing I was missing was checking box #4 prior to copying the html.
Good luck!
