"Since I'm Leaving": Update (Saturday, 4/28/12)

Rate: 4 Flag

Apologies and thanks to the four people who commented on my attempted "Story Interruptus" previous post.  I was "thinking out loud" at the time of writing and decided not to post my unfinished thoughts.  At least I "thought" I had decided that.  So I instructed they be filed as a "draft".  My page shows those words as "draft" but it got published "tant meme".  I guess I'd best not again try to ?"think outloud" -- to myself -- while I'm online!!!!  So, as I said: apologies, and thanks.

I've made that mistake, Marte. When it happens I just go to "manage posts," copy the stuff I want to save to a Word document, delete the post and create a new one. It's cumbersome but gets rid of the embarassing stuff.
Yeah, if you're writing anything elaborate, use a word processing document. Otherwise, aside from the drafting danger, you get the more common lose the connection and a half-hour's work danger, which has happened to me too many times.
And I missed it! ;0) I've been busy in my yard so I am missing stuff right and left, but my soul feels better so I think it's a fair trade. Hope things are good on your end.
Me too. Done that and deleted. One time, it made it before I got to edit. Sooo...see you are not supposed to leave. Fate interrupted.
Thanks, one and all! Ande I was going to write you to apologise for having unintentionally deleted a comment of yours on the now "gone missing" post which I took down because I couldn't find where/how to "close comments".

As for "Since I'm Leaving" ..... Well, as those who read my original post using those three words might remember, that was the name of a horse. It really was. The real name of a real horse in a real horse race. And that horse won that race. So I'm still musing on all of that but everything is done with good will, when possible good humor, and "with malice towards none".
Oh, and Phyllis - you didn't miss much, o.k.? Nothing so fascinating as your wonderfully detailed reports from your garden -- with photos, yet! I deleted the previous post because I couldn't find how to close comments. This unfortunately deleted a nice response from Heidi B. to Ande about horses, so I hope the two of you can get together on that one, somehow. Also, I meant to put "good" in parentheses in my previous comment or maybe with a question mark or two? Otherwise I just seem to be saying the same thing in two different ways. AVAUNT! ;-)
