So I'd like to take the opportunity and the time to say thank you.

For giving me something to make time worthwhile

For making time special, not just something that passes routinely

Rather something that carries me along

Through each day, month and year

Something measured in excitement and not something mundane

Something shared by two, not horded by one

There are so many kinds of time

And sharing them with you they are all so wonderful

There was the first time...

The first date

The first kiss

The first time together...

The time before our children

And the time spent with them

The time after they grew up and left home
