Black Point Settlement has no marina. They are a true Bahamian village. Not at all "touristy" but welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed our few days there, and made some new friends...
Dock. Note the transport ship. We watched it crash
into the dock on arrival. Now we know why the front
of the dock is caved in. There is a red painted sign on
the front of the ship in capital letters that say: BE SAFE

We arrived to George Town today, and I finally have wifi.
This settlement was terrific. It certainly puts things in perspective when you get away from the U.S. for a while.
