Why Jane Hates the Wind

Jane hates the wind
that roars from mountains
gathering power over
scrub brush prairie
snapping off sage
leaves' silver blue

Occasionally, you see a stunted tree,
planted by a true believer,
bent low to the earth
so low
in supplication

Jane doesn't want to go that way
Keeps her limbs in doors
or ventures out in stillness
smelling the lemon verbena
as she goes

as i read this...jane says by janes addiction played in my head. but your jane seems more grounded. i like her.
