Thanks for the kind words and the listing as a favorite....just returning to writing, the comments mean alot to me.
I will be following your work.
Steve
Thanks, Blue Roses. :)
Thanks, Steve. I'd never know you were just returning to writing; you seem a natural.

I used to write obsessively, but haven't for years. I'm a bit shy still, I guess. Thanks for reading - I promise I'll start posting more soon.
Love the haiku. Extra points if your handle is the "Tristram Shandy" reference I take it to be.
NYB, that haiku is pretty much the distillation of one full semester of a psych course I once took.

I notice, though, it was posted in MAY????? Why haven't you graced the pages of OS since then?

Hi, Boanerges, thanks for visiting!

You know, I was really hoping no one would notice the date on this. :)

I'm planning on posting more, but I write poetry, primarily. I can't help it - even when I mean to write something else, that's what I end up with. (Well, "poetry" might be an ambitious word for what I write, but you know what I mean.) I have gotten the feeling that poetry doesn't go over too well on OS.

Anyway, I'd love to hear about that psych course! Apparently, I should have taken it...
Hi, Charles, thanks for stopping by!
Seer, it wasn't intended as a Tristram Shandy reference, but maybe it should have been...I have been known to get ahead of myself. :) I love the literary knowledge around here.

Thanks for visiting!
NYB, I can't remember what it was called (this was back in the Dark Ages). But the substance of it was as you said in the haiku: Any time two people go to bed with each other, it's really four (or more).

Meanwhile, there are several good poets on here. Check out Bill S or Chuck Stetson (or BuffyW's haikus, for that matter). Will Someone Feed the Cat's weekly roundup this week includes at least one example.

And let us know.
Looks like you should keep the posting up. great work. rated.
Thanks, Caroline; I always mean to. I'm a tough self-critic, though. :)
