every time i/we drive south from orange county to san diego, we pass san clemente and i wave (literally) at what was nixon's western white house, the beautiful hacienda on the cliff above the pacific ocean where the prez walked on the sand with his wing tips on - and i say 'good riddance, tricky dick.'
