Day1 of Trial and Tribulation

Rate: 6 Flag

I have extremely strong intuition. I am intuitive. Am an InTJ person. According to the Briggs-Myer Tests. I had sensed something was not quite right and I had been asking to see copy for a long time. I started working on it in November 2011. ....................................................................It is April 6th today.

There is

1) copy work on the author's hard copy subscription,

2) extensive tracked work on word docs on shared drives,

3) PDF of tracked work on word docs, on shared drive, 4) corrections on corrections on hard copy,

5) separate versions that went to the author and came back with corrections, chapter by chapter,

6) and the proof that is printed now.

But that doesn't matter.

An order is an order and She is she.

The indomitable die-hard loyalist.

She would think of how perturbed and tired his face had looked, how terribly upset he had been - and she shall go over copy yet another time. Word by word. Because he indeed is the King. In spirit he is. A king's spirit is the only thing that could harbour such sanctimonious devotion to copy. And consideration for people. So she would do it. ...the copy editor down the line, the proof reader, even the DTP, let them all tweak copy as they see fit - let them not ask bef they slide in their little tweaks replacing "by" with "and", deleting a "had" in past perfect "had had" or playing jigsaw puzzles with syntax- zen like we shall go on fixing copy. Again. And again and again.Till copy is fit to what if the book gets delayed? She is there to do everyone's bidding, she would wok on it.... she shall read every word until she knows each book by heart and she shall work till copy flies....

Bette Davis had nine flops one after the other. Four bad marriages? Oscar
Wilde died in penury, alone, unattended. Kazi Nazrul got trapped forver in the world inside his beautiful mind. And they had poisoned Socrates. And had burned Joan at the stake.

And this is Ram janmabhoomi. The land of the Mitakshara school of law. The land where they fire-test females before they accept them, or allow them entry to dry land, the Ark.

If I did not respect you, I would have asked you to leave long time ago.
If I did not love you all, I would have left long time ago.
If I did not like this, I would have thrown it away.

If I did not want this, I would never have bought it in the first place.

If I had not known how beautiful it could be, I would have let it go long time ago.

If I hadnt known how joyful it would be in the end, I would have walked out long time ago.

If I hadnt any hope, I would never even have tried and would have quitted long time ago.

If I did not .... I would have.

That is an interesting set of ideas there - "if I did not" is used to stand in for "bec I do" "bec I did".

And the positive half? The on-the-surface positive half carries the seed of the negative idea - "I would have" -

"I would have left"

"I would have left you"

"I would have quitted"

"I would have thrown it away"

"I would have asked you to leave"

It means "I had thought of that". "I had wanted to"

But then did not.

When deadly ideas are couched in positive language, do they lose their edge and cease to hurt? If you sheath a sharp sword in velvet, does it cut any less effectively?

What one is born with is dharma. Thats what one is born with, entrusted with, possessed with and that shd be the only thing that matters.

Dharmam sharanam gacchhami.

And if dharma brings the sangha together as well, well and good, if it doesn't thats ok too.Anicca is all...

Dharma does usually always lead to buddhi, buddhi = insight

into the ways of men

as well as mice

and vice

As for the Buddha - one can always hope for his blessings while pursuing dhamma.

Love is all.

At times.

Or at least for now.

Who was it that wrote: "The dharma that can be spoken or written is not the true dharma."
"If I did not..." wonderful insight, there. Compact into that wording is not only that you had considered the choice of action at each point, but that you chose to persist.

That's quite different from accusations that start with "If you..." like "If you loved me..." which compact harsh judgements into a list of actions NOT taken.

Words hold secrets. But unless you look, you don't even see the clues.
[r] I am an INFP.

Love is all .... at times? paradox or oxymoron?

best, libby
"If I", when applied to the past is a fruitless waste of time.

"Thought so the future, however, should always contain "if I", many times over........

Blood, ancestors, and spiritual belief, spoken by one fire-tested female, no doubt. Interesting observations and you have sent me to the "Mitakshara school of law" via the Great Google Himself.

"If I", when applied to the past is a fruitless waste of time.

"Thoughts of the future, however, should always contain "if I", many times over........

Words are open to interpretation... deeds tell the story.

How do I love you? Please don't count the ways. Just hold me, feed me, give me shelter and sustenance. That is love.
Dharma rules and anyone who doubts it might be repeating themselves as a lower life form next time around. This post rocks!
