It is Good News Sunday!

My first good news is that I dyed my hair Deep Burgundy yesterday, wanting some red highlights, and I forgot to account for the grey in my hair.  Now my hair is purple!  I hadn't realised how much grey, I mean purple, I had in my hair.  My daughter laughed, but I know that secretly she is jealous.  And I love it!  I'm keeping it for the summer.  Hello Gorgeous!  :)

My second good news is that the engine in the Subaru blew.  Ok, that isn't the good news.  The good news is that the IRS has informed me that our tax refund should be here this week, so we can PAY for the new engine.  Yay!

My third good news is that I wrote something yesterday that may not be fabulous, but I am proud of it and I got some very nice comments on it.  I needed/wanted the validation, like everyone else here, but I am happy that I wrote it and think it is good, even if no one had commented on it.  You know what I mean?
