Neighborhood watching while black

Neighborhood Watching While Black

George Zimmerman is yet another victim of the two hundred year old, racist American justice system that assumes the guilt of the young Black Male simply by virtue of his identity. While other demographics can field Neighborhood Watches with little to no social implications or attached stigmatisms the young black male is cursed almost biblically with the heavy burden of cultural ignorance that begets the prejudicial dstortions of what we consider to be justice, fairness and ethical standard.

To quote that famous Blabber-scholar on this particular I give you the ever popular, the ever loquatious, Chauncy the whining-man, De Vega who chimes in on this subject with an admirable piece of printed fog that substitutes for intellect in this on going debate of the mellenium! And I give you:

Mediated realities. The pictures inside of people's heads. Life worlds. Bonding social capital. Lifestyle enclaves. The Big Sort. Red State and Blue State America. The color line. Residential housing segregation. Dense and exclusive social networks. The purpling of America.

social scientists have developed an extensive vocabulary in order to discuss how people live in their own bubbles, and are exposed to a very narrow slice of the broader world. In matters of politics, and the Common Good, this means that what should be clear, commonly understood, and shared priors are often anything but--instead, they are made contingent, circumstantial, and open to debate and evaluation.

These gaps in experience can result in humorous, albeit very revealing, gaffs: Mitt Romney's joke about a 10,000 bet or his suggestion that young people can easily borrow 20,000 dollars from their parents and start a business. Romney had no malignant intent here--he simply does not have any friends who are poor, working class, or even barely middle class. His life world, despite his vast wealth, is limited, by choice, to those like him.

Little wonder then in light of the indisputable, peer reviewed and universally accepted truths there above that this nation cannot accept the presence of a black man in a position of authority especially one that purports to tread on the white man's exclusive right of property and ownership. Whether openly by those who practice racism as a cultural affect or subtly by those who claim to be multicultural but are instead practicing hypocrites of their own subconcious lie George Zimmerman, like so many black men before him must and will suffer the slings and arrows of racially blind and eternally biased society wherein the black male will be subjugated to and vitctimized by the separate standard reserved for those considered to be inferior.

In George Zimmerman's case the situation is exacerbated by a dual cultural shunning that offers a far more exclusive and complex type of racial preference than the standard white/black ....black/white ....color tensions. George Zimmerman is black man shunned by other black men first and then by the white justice system again as a new kind of racial orphan in a world obsessed with identity politics and perpetual faux victim-hood.

The desperation of those determined to make a living off of faux victim-hood rather than legitimately from hard work in a field that would contribute something to this nation has become positively rabid. The increasing numbers of post racial blacks who are appearing as successful citizens in every field of endeavor signals the beginning of the end of the civil rights era that once had glory and honor but now truly fits the description of our own favorite post racial boy....Barack......as bitter clingers!

Our Buddy Chauncy continues to generate lovely prose possessed of the most intellectually immune purpose I think I have ever seen contained in one human being's cranium. It's amazing that there is that much room in there! Why Scarlett....I swear I can see Tara in all of its beauty and splendor fully tucked within the parameters of that head and Frankly.....I don't give a damn!
