Great video... love the way Momma looks directly into the lens and then helps out with the hatchling. Also got off on the fly and the spider on the lens... I have this thing about spiders.
Mr. Paust, thank you. Watching an American Bald Eagle hatch is an amazing thing. This was something that could only be done with today's technology and as much as I bitch and moan about it, it can do great things when the right people want it to.
Matt, this is so cool...the feathers on that Momma are just stunning. What a treat to see this miracle of birth up close.
Thanks for this!
awwww :D his head is so big and his neck so little
Glad it's good. I don't have enuf bandwidth to watch it. :((
Wish I could buy you some bandwidth.
Happy St Patty's day, dear Matt.
More exciting than watching video of my own kids being born. Okay maybe not quite, but definitely not as messy.
That was so cool! You can't help but want to reach out and help the poor little bird....
Momma a serious gal. Those eyes! That face!
I am trying mightily to see the connection
to St pat's day...i really cannot..but i dont give a shit...
i'm not irish and i couldnt care less about today...

Wow Amazing. That mama eagle looks like she wants to help crack that egg but knows that you can't hurry such things. I would be in there prying the kid out if it was me but I am not as wise as an eagle.
This is poetry in motion. Thanks for bringing this here.
modern tech, what a miracle!
Enjoyed this with my Sunday morning coffee!

Anybody else think the chick looks like a baby dragon?
Matt,is this your own video?I thought the pictures were taken by a monitor.
Thank you for sharing this on a weekend. It's a real treat.
It's amazing how hard it is for the little guy to get out of this hard shell.I love the way mom is tending her newborn;dad checking on mother and chick.

Trying to catch up.... It is amazing what can be done now to see this marvel of life and beauty.
I love how Mom looks at the camera and gives a WTF look and then how she paces around the egg as it hatches and you KNOW she wants to get in there and pull the shell off...
I've watched a baby chick hatch. It's quite exhausting work for the little things.
