There's a lot to love about Lance Armstrong's Stages project.
Currently on exhibition in Paris, the Stages project has brought together several of the top artists in the world to raise awareness -- and money -- for the fight against cancer.
I'm perpetually enamored of Cai Guo-Qiang, and his sun-colored LiveStrong-influenced contribution does not disappoint. Check out the other works by folks like Catherine Opie, Ed Ruscha, and Shepard Fairey, ranging from sculpture to photography to painting to print.
As Armstrong pedals off for the Tour de France finale on his Damien Hirst pimped out wheels,

I'm pretty moved to reach for that checkbook.
I grew up with the unquestioning conviction that the world was divided between the jocks and the artists. Now I get it -- they both leave you pretty exhilarated.
