You didn't hear from me yesterday.  I was battling allergies all day.  And, most of the day today, as well.  Came home from work early today, too.  Finally got my medication.  Hopefully, it helps and I'll feel better.

You may have heard how much I was looking forward to Saturday night's gig.  It turned out to be awesome.  We had such a blast.  Some old friends, some new friends, lots of music and a drunken fiesta.  Got home about three in the morning.  Went right to sleep---after I cut my leg on some metal thing on our bed frame.

After I had WAY TOO much to drink, I played Redemption Song by Bob Marley and people (one couple, that's people, isn't it?) danced.   That was a twist, I'll tell ya.  Had a guy come up and sing the song "Bridge" (a friend of mine wrote it) with me.  That was a new one, too.

Those that came out and stuck around to check it out were definitely not disappointed.  I was drinking beer straight from a pitcher.  And, I got the crowd to say "Pee-ya-ha!!" instead of "cheers" or "toast"; and, we did this quite a bit.

It's looking like it's going to be an early night, so that I hopefully feel better for tomorrow morning.  I'm wrapping this post up now.  I still look forward to connecting with everyone and sharing the music with the world.  Have a good one.
