It's A Shame - Why Young Men Commit Mass Shootings
Why do young men commit mass shootings in our schools? What makes them turn to gun violence? Since the Sandy Hook shootings the debate has gone on ad infinitum about media violence, gun control and mental health. Who dropped the ball and how do we fix it? Everyone is bl/… Read full post »
Losing Our Religion (And Journalism)
When I was a little girl I worshipped Lois Lane. Not the 50's version Lois Lane, but the 1978 Margo Kidder version from the movie "Superman" with Christopher Reeve. I was so inspired by Margo that I got bangs and decided to become a reporter just like her. I… Read full post »

I think we’ve all had those times where the rug… Read full post »
The Joke Is On Me
I grew up in a funny family. Jokes were always being told at holiday gatherings, weddings or trips to the Podiatrist. Comedy was in my blood or in the water in Brooklyn where my family is from; I'm not sure which. My sense of humor also developed out of necessity.… Read full post »
