- Bio
- I spent several years working stressful and dangerous jobs, both domestically and internationally. I've been to a lot of interesting places and have many outrageous stories. I am finally at a point in my life where I am settling down. I have a house and a growing family and it is proving to be quite the adventure. This is a place for me to get out thoughts, ask opinions, and just basically rant about stuff. All thoughts, ideas, and opinions are welcomed. Enjoy. BTW...the picture is not me, and I write using a pseudonym.

Justin Gatlin: Male-chauvinist, sexist, Olympic sprinter?
Once again, an American that is somewhat of a public figure has, in a public forum (twice in fact) opened his mouth and made an ass of himself and the country.
I’m referring to Justin Gatlin, (U.S. Olympic runner) and the comments he recently made about fellow sprinters Allyson Felix and… Read full post »
McDonald's has fashion designer make new uniforms
McDonald’s has asked Wayne Hemingway of Hemingway Designs and the street style label Red or Dead to remake their employee’s uniforms. One of the big issues he had was the baseball caps. Hemingway says, “Baseball caps are a big thing with fast food, but they’re far too ca/… Read full post »
Chronic testicular pain?
I had a vasectomy in October after my son was born in September. My wife and I had discussed it, and made the decision that we were stopping at two kids. I didn’t want Darla to have to have surgery, so I decided to get snipped. I did quite a bit/… Read full post »
Innocent, not so innocent, and malicious flirting.
Innocent flirting, we’ve all done it. But where is the line that goes from innocent to not so innocent and to downright malicious? Sometimes it’s hard to tell, but other times, it’s quite obvious.
I’ve been accused of being a flirt. Sometimes I don’t ev/… Read full post »
Hoping for psychological help...for the first time
Earlier this week I had an appointment with a grief and PTSD counselor. The first appointment is basically to look into background and see if she is a proper fit for the type of counseling I’m in need of. The doc seems really nice and I feel comfortable opening up and/… Read full post »
I used to be shy, so I became a stripper
I have blogged a couple of times about my past experiences as a stripper. Here’s a look into WHY I became a stripper.
I am an only child. Often I would spend a lot of time by myself. I was perfectly fine with that…I had (and still have) and extremely/… Read full post »
My PSA & The Crazy World of Craigslist Personals
This entry is going to cover the crazy world of Craigslist online personal ads as well as a website that is for “gay male dating.” I previously created both a profile on the “dating” site and posted ads on Craigslist for the purpose of research for this blog post. … Read full post »

The juicebag from Starbu…er…Starfucks & other stories.
I have a 5 year old son and the things he says can be quite amusing. He is always paying close attention, even when it appears as if he’s off in his own little world. His recall memory is completely and utterly terrifying. I have no idea how this child remembers/… Read full post »

Sunday, April 20th 2008, 2:03 am. That was when it happened. The day my life changed forever.

My 12 step dilemma and a problem at N.A. meetings.
Today I am going to revisit a previously discussed topic, just from a different point of view. The topic, my addiction. For those of you that follow my blog, you already know the story. For those reading for the first time, I am an addict. To understand better, or to refresh… Read full post »
A much needed respite. Cigar, 12 yr old Glenlivet, & novel.
I have been feeling very melancholy lately. Over Christmas break, my grandfather passed away. I wrote about it, and it seemed to help a little, but not near as much as I thought it would.
My grandfather was a great man, and much like a father to me. My values,… Read full post »

Is this the end of birth control? (My political rant)
Here is a blog entry that I never imagined I'd write. You'll have to forgive me as my brain is overloaded with this nonsense and I'm sure I will ramble a bit.
I was having a discussion with my wife earlier today, and I found the topic quite distasteful. It has continued… Read full post »
How Rick Moranis taught me empathy
Empathy. Em-pa-thy. [em-puh-thee].
Noun. 1. The intellectual identification with or vicarious experiencing of the feelings, thoughts, or attitudes of another.
Empathy is something almost everyone learns. I learned it at a very young age. I remember specifically when and how I… Read full post »
The Closeted Bisexual/Heretroflexible
My wife teases me about this all the time. She tries to drag me out kicking and screaming along the way. She wrote in her blog more than once hinting at, skirting around the issue. I told her to write about it, but she didn't. "This is your story to tell"… Read full post »
Christmas and the passing of a great man
This holiday season has been a rough one. What is the deal with Christmas and bad things happening?
Normally, the month of December seems to fly by. By the time it's Christmas day, it feels like we're still in the first week of December. This year, that was not the case...but… Read full post »
Strippers...
This is a kind of social experiment. My wife posted something and it had "Stripper" in the title. It only had a couple of lines involving strippers, and the rest was about, well, other stuff.
We began discussing how many views her post had gotten, most likely because of the… Read full post »
The meaning of Christmas, Charlie Brown...
Christmas is just around the corner and it got me to thinking...(Uh Oh...never a good thing!)

I've been away for a while.
So, I've been away for a while. It's been quite a few months since I've posted anything. The Peni-pult. Yes, Peni-pult. Think catapult...but replace the "cata" with a part of the male anatomy.
