The sun admires its grandeur on each tree
And azure skies frame orchards' colored rows;
The lakes reflect with narcissistic glee
The autumn palette nature's beauty knows.
At times the golden aftternoons enhanced
By warmth and storm clouds restless for release
Give way to Thor's display of thunder dance
Refreshing sod with showers that soon cease.
October's warmth and slowly fading days
The air replete with smell of burning leaves,
The chatter of the geese now parting ways
Complete the auras that the season weaves.
Wherever seasons pass from spring to fall
The glory of these days surpasses all.
