Who knew that cocoa beans that "look cool" are moldy and useless to the trained connoisseur? That's what I learned this past week when we shot these cocoa beans for an upcoming show in San Francisco. Some times you feel like a nut...

I'll bet David gets free samples!

I love this so much! I don't have an artistic bone in my body, but all the bones are comprised primarily of calcium derived from chocolate and chocolate accessories. Who knew those beans were icky?

FYI on the "icky beans":
They had some "blusih" cast and "moldy" characteristics which were VERY charismatic ans stunning to look at where "older, moldy" as told to me by the Madagascar cocoa farmers!

A day without learning is a day that's lost. To that, I say, let's all hold up a piece a QUALITY chocolate high in the air and shout at the top of our lungs, "Yummy, Yum, Yum, Yum, Yummy!"
