A fine, fine question...

It is a fine question, but the thing is, there are so many "wars" about which one could be asked the same question that it's impossible to fight on all fronts. "Mommy, what did you do during the war on [Drugs/Poverty/Civil Liberties/the Middle Class/Minorities/etc.]" are all equally valid questions. I regret not doing more in the war on women, but my time and money have been dedicated to the war on civil liberties which I think is the more important overarching threat.

Still wondering... so since motherhood is full time noble job.... can women who have children be kicked out of all job interviews......??? Also do mothers of children qualify for unemployment if they lose their "job" if they are also engaged in full time noble jobs of bringing the kids up?

I am not laughing at this preposterous joke played on those of us who have been working in the real world as well as bringing up our kids ...going through all the pain associated with working, facing the ignominy of losing jobs, retraining, starting all over and continuing to fight and all that whether we need the money or not. And no Ms Chrystia Freeland.....(Bill Maher show April 20, 2012) not all of us heave a great sigh of relief to be out of the house nor do we heave any sigh of grief. That was NOT our motivation to work at what we trained so hard for and got our doctorate........unbelievable shame!
