Gosh! I don’t know if you’ve missed me at all but I sure have missed you!!! I feel like I’ve been gone for so, so long! But really, it’s only been something like 11 days since I was last here! (Who's counting anyway? Oh, yes, that would be me!)
Honestly, I haven’t been here regularly for some months. There is one of those long stories behind that and perhaps I’ll write something on that sometime soon ... or maybe not.
Most recently I moved house and have been without internet access for most of the last week. I have it connected now but it's still not good. Not good at all ... it's very, very slow and and keeps dropping out on me. Ugh.
I was going to share a video of the view from my new home but I'm having all sorts of technical issues right now. I think someone once said, Life wasn't meant to be easy. Oh well.
So for now ... perhaps I'll just say a big "HELLO!"
Oh, and did I tell you how much I've missed you????

It sounds like a jungle where you live. I looked up magpies on Wikipedia. It said: Magpies are believed to be one of the most intelligent of all animals: the European Magpie is one of the few animal species known to be able to recognize itself in a mirror test. Very cool!!
Chicken Maaaan (um how many a's is that?? oh never mind!) ... I'm sorry to hear you have a dicey internet. I put up with the lousy signal from the other company up until 2 days ago and then had to cancel. I have a much better one now and boy am I glad about that!
Erica, thank you for the welcome back! There are all sorts of birds here ... I've seen king parrots, galahs, magpies, kookaburras and currawongs. The ones making the most noise I think are the currawongs and magpies but I'm no expert on the different birds, that's for sure!
