Got your attention? How about something that REALLY matters for a change?
This week has been f--ing intense, for those paying attention. "Hope and Change" has come to mean straight-up pounding one of the poorest countries on the planet into the ground in the vain hope that it might preserve our precious way of life here in the U.S... which, by the way, apparently includes shoving women back into the steel box of the 1950's with abortion (and birth control) practically impossible to obtain from society. DIY abortion? No thanks. Abortion bans and escalating wars! Shutting our eyes or sucking down the most mindless forms of pop culture will not save us from this nightmare.
Thank you to all the people resisting in the streets this week! You are the ones who give me hope.
