Make no mistake about it, there is an extreme distrust on the part of the Republicans involving those of us who possess a uterus! How else do you explain the comments made by that knuckle-dragging primate, Republican Congressman from Missouri, Todd Akin.   Sadly, this culture of misinformation and falsehoods is one with which many of us from Pennsylvania are sadly, very familiar.  Back in 1988, we were treated to the tin-hat theory espoused by Rep. I don’t know about you, but the thought of these men being allowed any power or control over anyone’s life sends shivers down to my soul.  I fear for my daughter, nieces, great-nieces, and all other women.  These male politicians all seem to want the same thing-women who will vote for them, be subservient, and fade into the background like a ‘good, little woman’.  The women who don’t vote for them are socialist, sleazy sluts who have the audacity to speak up for themselves and others.  The opinions that us 'slutty women' have are deemed without merit or validity because we aren’t the Republicans’ idea of Republican-voting, sperm receptacles. 

It does get worse.  The Romney/Ryan ticket would like to see all women’s rights rolled back to the Stone Age Era.  You know, Gork hits female over head, rapes her and makes her his ‘woman’.  She has no choice but to allow his assaults, and bear his children.  She is voiceless in her own life. I am assuming that this is ‘traditional marriage’ that they are trying to legislate! Women, under Ryan’s plan would not be allowed an abortion, even to save her own life.  http://jonathanturley.org/2012/08/18/romney-vp-pick-paul-ryan-cosponsored-personhood-ultrasound-and-let-women-die-legislation/ I have been through several  life-threatening pregnancies, and I also had a miscarriage.  If I hadn’t received the D & E procedure, I would have bled to death.  I never would have been around to have my daughter, or to raise my sons!  How is Ryan’s issue pro-life?  Also, you cannot walk around with this cloak of reverence and respect for life if the only lives you value are pre-born lives.  Your obvious lack of respect and caring for those already born have been made very clear by your most inhumane actions.  The cuts to social programs and the rush to gut any and all social safety net items does not translate into a respect for life.  You should just change the motto to ‘anything that doesn’t benefit my rich, wealthy backers will be ended forever’!  

So Mr. Romney and Mr. Ryan, I think you need to get over your total distrust of females who you do not control.  Last I checked, all humans were given free will, not just the ones carrying junk.  A uterus does not make me or any other female a second class citizen.  I think if women are trusted to bear and raise children, that maybe you need to listen to them and respect their wishes. Why, according to you both, are only ones allowed full participation in society are the white, wealthy country club men?  The Republican women who do their bidding are also allowed some participation, as it makes for good political theater.  But to aim legislation to take away a medical procedure and possibly harm women who would need this procedure, just plays into the whole ‘legitimate rape’, ‘certain secretions’, and ‘sanctity of human life’ fallacy. Also, how do you honor human life when you take away food, clothing and shelter from the most vulnerable?  Is the idea that someone has your sperm sent you blotto?  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U0kJHQpvgB8 Monty Python had a great parody of this whole idea!  "Every Sperm is Sacred" may be the mindset of these intellectual giants!  All of these ideas of limits on social programs are done to give even more obscene amounts of money to oligarchs.  You also have henchmen doing your bidding spreading the lie that poverty is a character defect.  The henchmen are the Radical Right Evangelical Christians and Fox ‘news’ and other faux journalists.   

To vote for Romney/Ryan defies all logic, as Spock would say!  I can only assume self-loathing deluded women and uneducated males will buy into what they have to sell!  The idea that we are even having this conversation makes me fear for our nation!
