Grilled Cheese: Provolone, Avocado on Sourdough

Rate: 5 Flag

You will need:
2 slices of sourdough bread
2 slices of provolone cheese
Some sliced avocado.

Make the sandwich, butter the outside of the sandwich, brown it in a skillet on medium high heat until the cheese melts and the outside is toasty.  You could also add a slice of tomato if you want.

 That is all.

Glad everyone liked this. The good thing about grilled cheese recipes is that they're cheap and easy.
yum - I have a panini grill and have exhausted the traditional grilled cheese plan. Why didn't I think of avocado?
Hate sourdough but loooove avocado and provolone! Thanks for a great idea - I have to confess, I'll be changing bread type, though - nothing personal. :-) R!!!
Ardee, I don't know where I got the idea from Avocado, probably some restaurant, but it's great.

Alysa, I will bet you have a huge choice of delicious breads, enjoy!
