I have loved Dobermans all my life. They have been among my greatest friends and teachers, my muses and my confidants. We bred Dobies for a few years and I also had the opportunity to be a Doberman trainer.
Here are a few slices of my life with Dobies.
Bennie Belle, my first Doberman
Sadie was the queen bee around here for over ten years. She had my adoration and my respect in a way I have seldom extended to anyone else in my life.

Sadie had two litters and a total of 20 puppies. Here are a few candid shots of her and her youngsters.

And a couple of baby pictures of our Sergei, who was the papa for both of Sadie's litters:
Dixie, Sadie and Sergei's daughter from their first litter, had one litter of puppies. She is one of the best athletes among all our dogs. Here's a shot of her head while she's running followed by some shots of her puppies:
The little red girl is our Ruby, who lives with us still. The big handsome fella sitting next to her is her papa Walker, who is one of my dearest friends.
Dobermans - My life would have been much less wealthy without them!

nilesite - Yeah, I had done this little video a few years ago. Two of the Dobies (Sadie and Squeaky) have since passed away, and it gives me such joy to watch this now. Thanks for reminding me to bring this back out today.
ushigrey - Thank you for your comment - adoration, indeed, huh! We just loved every one of them!
I love dogs too; it would be hard to live without my boys (black labs)

Gerald - I'm not familiar with Irish terriers and will be educating myself about them a bit shortly. We still hear from the families of our youngsters as well - and it is always such a joy to see them doing well. Thanks for stopping by. Now I'm going to go google Irish terrier!
Laura - Yes, they do come in and take over your heart, don't they? And thanks! We've been blessed with some of the most gorgeous Dober people ever, inside and out!
My neighbor used to have two Dobermans back in the '70s...very smart and protective. I was interested to see what happened one day when one came down the road (about a 1/4 mile) to our house and encountered our black Labrador Retriever...the neighbor's dog, perhaps feeling out of its environment, was intimidated by the site of our dog and ran home!
