Oh, by all means, I'd be quite prepared for that eventuality.

Have You Met Marcel the Shell?

Rate: 5 Flag
Obviously, spending almost two weeks away from here didn't really inspire me to come up with any earthshaking subjects to write about.  So you're stuck with a bunch of YouTube videos.

But this one is special.  No, it really is!

It's been out for nearly a year now, but I just discovered it, and when I get hooked on something, I really get hooked on it.

Marcel the Shell With Shoes On was written by Jenny Slate and Dean Fleischer-Camp, directed by Dean Fleischer-Camp, and Marcel is voiced by Jenny Slate, who is a former SNL cast member.

It's a well-spent 3:22.  The worst thing about it is trying to decide which is your favorite line.

Figuring we could all use a smile right now...
OMG... I drag a piece of lint with a string for my dog. L()
How cute was this?
I loved this.

Well, I guess what brings happiness is a relative thing. That was interesting, strange, but interesting. Pretty creative...
Linda, I was hoping that, even if no one else saw this, you would. I knew it would be something you'd like.

Be careful, Dicky, I think that Marcel tends to grow on you...kind of like a barnacle!
Good to see that you're back. Interesting video.
I loved it, Marcel is adorable. my fave line, like yours, is def the one about hangliding on a dorito. :-)
I'm beginning to think there are two kinds of people in the world: those who think Marcel is "interesting" and those who think he's just the most adorable thing ever. (Not that the former are bad people, of course!). ;-)
definitely wins the unusual category
