The Iraqi Veterans Against the War have been fighting the scandalous redeployment of Afghanistan and Iraq war veterans with TBI (traumatic brain injury), PTSD and depression for at least five years. The response from the Bush and Obama administration has been total indifference. Thanks for posting this.

Dr. Bramhall, I also posted a diary about the "signature wound" of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, almost two years ago in May 2010...

Hillary, Cheney, what's the difference? It's all the same vicious winning game to them all because none of them lose. When the hell is someone going to say enough?

Unfortunately, PTSD doesn't just go away. And startling easy really does suck. I've had problems with the response to this action. It is so obvious that this guy just got tired of Americans being killed in Afghanistan over petty stuff and no one doing anything about it. His response was based on being deployed too many times and being damaged himself.

No it was some shlub deployed from the Seattle area, the same base that's seen a rash of PTSD and other service-related problems. This is war, ten years on. Get the HELL out now.
