He currently working on a book about American jazz music as a social movement in the post-World War II civil rights era. He is also a professional drummer whose band, Zeebop, released a 2009 CD, "Twisted Standards."

My life in 97.3 gigbytes

All done.

My life is now officially inventoried and compressed, for the digital age, into 97.6 gigibytes.  Every piece of recorded music I own is now on my iPod, which is synced with my iMac, which is backed up my three separate external hard drives. Thankfully, I have a wife… Read full post »
