Music for me is the same as writing, it comes from emotion.  As we all know on Open Salon the plethora of emotions run wide.  Writing and/or playing instrumental music depends on a mood or a vibe.  Upon leaving home last week for just a brief overnight trip to Nashville, I was overwhelmed with the sensation I used to get when I traveled nearly 6 months of the year (for a past job).

It was lonely enough of a feeling when it was only my wife that I was leaving.  Now I leave my son behind each time I travel and I don't like missing even one day of his young life.  So this vibe came to me when I returned based on what I felt when I left. (Make sense of that.)

I hope someone or anyone listens and enjoys and perhaps gets it.

Namaste'

Greg, that sounds great!! No need for me to go down to the Village tonight to hear some Jazz, I can simply listen to your sets online!
Hey man I have copies of your banners. Would you like one?
Beautiful, evocative of Miles Davis and Chet Baker.
Totally get it and wish you safe travels there and back again. Thanks for sharing the link to your music. It's beautiful!
Thank you J1. :-) It was just a live improv I laid down via my BlueSnowball mic and PC suite. It's pure emotion, not written down. That's music to me, good for bad.

Thank you so much Shiral, same here.

Wow that's very nice of you to say D. I would still recommend the Vanguard and whomever may be appearing anywhere at a club tonight. :-)

Oh man Ric, would love them!!!!

Thank you Anthony. I love both of those cats. Miles vibe and Chet's warm tone are beautiful things.

Thank you Lynn. The thing about traveling alone with a big imagination is the feelings and vibes are remembered.
email me and I will send them
Played it work here while doing some online research a few moments ago...whew, man I'm tired and lonely from being on the road all day.
I dig the mute.
