Obama's Dumb, Dumber, and Dumbest Team
Surely one of the signs of an acceptable, forget about good, leader is the ability to attract and engage a group of competent, forget about impressive, advisors.
Obama continues to follow his well worn pattern of surrounding himself with lieutenants whose capacities range from mediocre to scandalously inadequate.
Forget about Biden and Holder, whose respective gaffes and racial prejudices have already been documented. Forget about those who have already been sent out to pasture.
Now we have regular White House visitor and DNC advisor Hilary Rosen. Will Obama ever be able to rid himself of these Hil(l)aries?
Could there ever be greater evidence of Obama's cluelessness in selecting advisors than his decision to pal around with a woman who, in her infinite wisdom, has the galactic stupidity to attack the one individual who is admired by more people than those who liked Tiger Woods before the fall?
How frustrating for Obama to have to take a time out on his relentless attack on society's engines to disavow Ms. Rosen and to instruct his lemmings to do likewise.
Other grace notes of the affair merit mention:
As usual, Obama's retreat was accomplished step by tortuous step. His first apology seemed to suggest that Rosen's offense was wrong only because of whom she attacked (the inviolate family) not what she actually said.
Ann Romney's defense, including an incredibly gracious tribute to Rosen, demonstrated the difference between class and klass.
But, as usual, the Ignoramus Award must surely go to Jay Carney, who sought to cast doubt on the fact that Hilary Rosen spent more time in the White House than did Hillary Clinton by noting that he knew more than one Hilary Rosen. This was a bit much even for Hilary Rosen herself. Who would ever think we'd miss Robert Gibbs!
And, of course, no Obama statement is complete without a reference to Himself. He noted that He had never met Ann Romney. That void in His life will be surely be remedied if He's at the White House door when the Romneys move in.

Based on what Carney said, I have to assume that anyone named Hilary Rosen has free entree to the White House. So those of us who would like to visit the White House need only assume the same name as someone else who is welcome there. I don't think I could pass as a fourth Hilary Rosen, but how about Joe Biden? Dick Cheney? No, wait...
In my defense, I was trying to give the post some meaning.
Obama's inability to find good people was easily predictable by the company he kept throughout his life. He and his fringe friends deserve each other. Unfortunately, the poor star alignment of 2008 that facilitated his election means we all have to suffer.
As for not being able to leave me a PM, you stand alone in that incapacity.
Best not be snide when you're so unsure of the facts.
