Why the 'religious' right has to deny global warming...
Because if they stop denying global warming (we're talking a certain cult here) they will have to realize that their 'every sperm is sacred' obsession has contributed to the problem, and that since the planet seems to be going to hell in a hand basket, and there has been no appearance… Read full post »
Correspondence with my (R) representative.
I have been having a conversation with my republican representative over his stand on the Obama administration and the raising of the debt ceiling.
He, being a republican is against it, obviously.
So I sent him an email voicing my opinion...
I do that at times. I did it to 'my'… Read full post »
Let's have a Bible burning!
Yes, you read that right. Let's have a Bible burning.
Let's get a case of Bibles and light'em up to show how unhinged the 'religious' right would get if someone did the same shit that horrible asshole in Florida (and why is Florida cornering the market on assholes anyway) did.
Roast'em… Read full post »
Has Goldman Sachs shorted America?
Has Goldman Sachs shorted America?
I don't mean shorted as stolen, although you could make that point rather well, I mean has Goldman shorted America the way that they bet against the people holding the mortgages that they knew would default.
A republican senator recently said that the US should defa… Read full post »
What this country is lacking is gratitude.
If there's one thing that makes me sick it's all this talk of 'lazy poor' and 'evil unions'.
What these self-appointed guardians of our country fail to realize is that these were the people that helped build this country.
These were some of the people who were being so mistreated… Read full post »
Is John Boehner depressed?
I just watched a Cymbalta commercial and they listed the side effects of taking their drug for depression as causing 'yellowing of the skin or eyes'.
Since Mr. Boehner looks like an Oompa-Loompa with his strange colouring, one has to wonder...
It would explain a lot about his attitude and general… Read full post »
All enemies, foreign and domestic...
Every senator and representative pledges an oath to uphold the constitution prior to officially taking position in congress. It goes something like this:
I,___ ___ , do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and dom… Read full post »
Is Sarah Palin a symptom of GOP flop sweat?
That thought popped into my mind after seeing the coverage of Palin's new campaign 'reality TV' show.
She portrays an outdoorsy woman that represents a party that claims the country club set as their 'base'. She runs so counter to the GOP's usually outdoorsy squeamish base that she almost looks… Read full post »
Is Sarah Palin a lesbian?
I was wrong at my first attempt to post an article.
I appologize for anyone offended by it. It has been altered to make the point batter.
My bad.
I deserved this one...
Heard from a local democratic party leader...
'I hope that the republicans do win'.
Yes, that stunning statement was made by a local democratic party leader.
I was rather hoping that he was joking. He wasn't.
His wish is that the republicans win the elections and take both houses of government. He actually wishes that...
Why?
You might… Read full post »
If You Want More Debt Vote Republican!
Reposted, with appoloigies, from Common Dreams.
This one post explains quite clearly what the GOP/tea baggers are up to. Wholesale destruction of the country, for profit. It seems like it shouldn't be that easy, but it just might be...

Think the Chamber of Commerce is on your side? Watch these
They hit the Chamber pretty hard and give a reason why the Obama EPA is bending over for the Chamber?
Are the democrats hoping to get a wheelbarrow load of that secret money from the Chamber in the future? The clueless twits probably are...

The US Chamber of Commerce: US business Mafia?
It appears that the US Chamber of Commerce has morphed into something that it wasn't meant to be.
I remember as a kid that the Chamber of Commerce was a 'community organization' that sponsored local activities and local small businesses. In my home town, they sponsored a cherry pie cook-off and… Read full post »
It's hard to see discrimination when you are on top.
The 'War on Christmas' is starting early.
There is a movie being offered that focuses on the tempering of the use of the word 'christmas' in this country.
There is a trailer for the movie that I watched and I was struck by one thought.
How would I feel if I… Read full post »
What does it take to be a member of the right?
What does it take to be a member of today's 'right wing'?
I ask that after reading the blurb from RightNetwork.com.
In the eight page of their 'lookbook', is the statement that you will find "Everything right, at the click of a remote". A line up that "focuses on entertainment with… Read full post »
The earth existed long before environmental laws?
The earth existed long before environmental laws. Um-kay...
The earth is only 6,000 years old. Really...
And rapeing the state of Arizona for uranium makes total sense...
There are days I'm embarrassed to be called 'human'.
