O. K. We've figured how to get three shopping days when stores will give rock bottom prices to compete for Chrismas shoppers. But while the Friday, Saturday, and Monday after Thanksgiving are all now shopping bonanzas, no one has come up with idea that will get customers in stores and stores in the mood to give more of those deep discounts. How about No Sales Tax Sunday? Shop till you drop and you won't have to pay a dime in taxes. Buy all the big ticket items the Sunday after Thanksgiving with no sales tax to pay! Who wouldn't go shopping on No Sales Tax Sunday? Now, all we have to do is get a bill passed excluding citizens in each of the fifty states from having to pay taxes on the Sunday after Thanksgiving each year. If we can do that, a fat old guy in a red suit can shimmy down my chimney any time he wants to!
