Bio
I'm 35. I work in a career I love, paint, ski, nordic walk, have dogs, have a boyfriend, read incessantly, crochet, travel, sing in my car, and cook like a dream. I was misdiagnosed with fibromyalgia for the past 4 years and the some of the story is posted here. Having corrected that, I have regained energy and vitality, so I'm not online as much as before. Can't really say "F the medical establishment" enough right now. *Please excuse the mess while I readjust my online identity*

Livin' the life I was supposed to be

I meant to come back.  I really did.

I liked OS and still read it avidly.

I am too freaking busy being a healthy non fibromyalgia having person to make any posts.  The posts I should be making are conversations I have face to face during my forays about in the real world.

Love and kisses, my OS friends. This blog has jumped the shark.

Bisous,

Congrats. I read back thru your posts....I was diagnosed Fibro too, knew I didn't have it. 4 years later a new doc runs a blood test, I have rheumatoid arthritis. But the fatigue was horrible, new blood test a few months ago revealed I have hypo thyroid too....what a difference medication makes! I feel ya sister. Go live your life.
and a PS - you're right, fibro is a trash can diagnosis, what male doctors tell female patients, I think just to placate them. I was 35, with pains, and my general doc basically patted me on the head, said "you're getting old." I was 35! Went to a rheumotologist who did not do blood work, but said fibro. 10 years later, new rheumotoligst, ran blood work and found the arthritis. and it took my female doc to go further and find the thyroid issue.
Good for you! Delighted to hear you are better.
Proud for ya!!! Go out and enjoy the life out there.
