Been missing the OS community but just have had to be offline 24/7.
My life has become something for bad movies and ... that's about it for now.... ahem!
This morning I was able to log on for the first time in a straight week.
Saw that some Spam fighting insurgence went on and thought , "How fun so wish I could join in." Didn't even get a chance to read one.
Then was alerted to some form of Dust up where someone has SCOLDED the participants of this Spam insurrection.
This is a post that aims to say hello to all my OS palsies( and you know who you are,) and to firmly SCOLD scolders of all stripes.
I rather be spammed than scolded. Scolding must be reserved for ...ancient seniors, perhaps. Judges too can get away with lots of scolding as can parents of toddlers.
Life is Absurd. OS is therefore also absurd. OS is fun sometimes. It has benefits. Some fine souls reside within its cyber walls. Many keep coming back for more. Some flee or flounce too. That's the way it is. It's only sooooo0000 serious when somebody is dying or has died.
Seriousness must be reserved for serious occassions . With all doo respect, the effort for us all to rise up together for a silly anti-spam cause is not serious.
As I said, there is a hypocrisy inherent in this silly post -- I am scolding scolders.
Perhaps a Shakepeare quality sonnet got lost in the frenzy. So what. The management has shown us all little regard and we should all get pissy more often, to be honest.
For a long time I have wanted to admonish scolds. Thank you.

... and kablooey! Everyone has been jumping on board and so far I've seen very little scolding... just a few polite objections to some of the ideas that have been proposed.
