It is a special pleasure to post a birthday tribute today for my OS pal, Stacey, who has been a member of the site since May, 2008 and still actively posts stories and photo essays. In fact, Stacey signed up before I did and we are now on our fifth editor (figuratively) which seems like an accomplishment.
However, in discussing accomplishments the next time you happen to come upon the work of Ansel Adams, just consider the talent of Stacey in the area of photography whose work is also beautiful in the same way that Adams' photos are. I have taken five of Stacey's photos and placed them in the context of art posters along the lines of Ansel Adams' poster. In my opinion, Stacey is the Renaissance Man of Open Salon! His wonderful talent also falls into the area of music, humor, woodworking, and architecture. For anyone who has not followed his posts over the past four plus years I suggest taking a look at the body of work he has produced here and you will be impressed!
Stacey's birthday is tomorrow, but I wanted to get an early start this evening because some OSers may be traveling tomorrow with the 4th of July just two days away.
A very Happy Birthday, Stacey,
and many happy returns to the day!
I start here with an Ansel Adams poster I have in my collection and take it from there with Stacey's photographs as shown in the art posters below that I created for Stacey's birthday tribute...
